Job Description Location: Mohali / Gurugram (as per business requirement) N Department: HSE ( Health, Safety & Enviornment) N nn Position Summar NyWe are seeking an experienced Head – Safet y to lead and strengthen the organization's Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) function across all EPC business verticals, including Power Systems, Renewables, Transmission & Distribution, and Manufacturing. The incumbent will be responsible for developing and implementing world-class safety systems, ensuring statutory compliance, fostering a proactive safety culture, and driving the organization's goal of achieving zero harm across all project sites N .Key Responsibilitie Nn sDevelop and implement the corporate HSE strategy across all EPC projects N .Ensure compliance withnational and international safety standards, including statutory regulations N .Establish and monitor HSE policies, procedures, SOPs, and emergency response plans N .Lead safety managementfor utility-scale solar projects, substations (up to 765 kV), transmission lines, and industrial electrical projects N .Drive implementation of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems N .Conduct regular site safety audits, inspections, and compliance reviews N .Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions N .Develop leading and lagging safety KPIs and present safety performance to senior leadership N .Build a solid safety culture through awareness programs, behavioral safety initiatives,



and leadership engagement N .Ensure compliance withclient HSE requirements and project-specific safety plans N .Manage safety teams across multiple project locations and mentor regional HSE managers N .Coordinate with project management, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to integrate safety into project execution N .Oversee contractor safety management, including audits, onboarding, and performance evaluation N .Liaise with regulatoryauthorities, consultants, and client representatives on HSE matters N .Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance organizational safety performance Nn .Required Qualification Nn sBachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Civil) or equivalent N .Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety from a recognized institute N .NEBOSH IGC or equivalent international certification preferred N .Lead Auditor certification for ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 is desirable Nn .Experienc Nn e18–25 year s of overall experience in Health, Safety & Environment N .Minimum 10 year s in a leadership role within the EPC industr y N .Proven experience in N :Utility-scale Solar EPC project N sEHV/HV Substations (AIS/GIS N )Transmission Line project N sElectrical infrastructure project N sIndustrial construction project N sExperience managing safety across multiple project sites simultaneously N .Exposure to projects executed for utilities, government, and private sector clients Nn .
