Job Title: Team Leader - Project Finance

About the Role:

Join the high-growth boutique investment banking platform and lead project finance and debt syndication mandates for India’s energetic mid-market. As a Team Leader, you will work closely with promoters, CXOs, and senior bankers while independently managing end-to-end execution of financing transactions and mentoring a team of analysts, with minimal involvement from management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Independently lead the execution of project finance and debt syndication mandates across sectors
- Handle and manage - Clients, Bankers, and the Team - independently
- Evaluate project viability, conduct detailed financial analysis, and structure financing solutions
- Build and review financial models, credit notes, and information memorandums for lenders
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions
- Manage lender discussions, term sheet negotiations, and close transactions with clients and bankers
- Guide and mentor analysts and junior team members on financial analysis and transaction execution




- Work closely with promoters and senior management to structure optimal financing solutions
- Track industry developments, regulatory changes, and sector trends relevant to project financing
- Deal sourcing (optional, but will be an added advantage)

Eligibility Criteria:

- Experience: 5-10 years of experience in project finance, credit analysis, debt syndication, and dealing with nationalised and private banks
- Qualification: CA / MBA (Finance) / CFA
- Strong experience in financial modeling, project evaluation, and credit structuring
- Established relationships with lenders and financial institutions preferred
- Leadership ability with strong communication and client management skills
- Having worked on multiple Rs.50 - 200 Cr. debt transactions
- Flexibility to travel as required by deal flow (once a week possible)
