About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our dynamic team in a full-time remote capacity. This role offers the flexibility to work from anywhere within India, providing an excellent opportunity for professionals passionate about building scalable data solutions and working with advanced cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will enjoy tackling complex data problems, taking ownership from design through to delivery, and collaborating closely with both technical and business stakeholders to develop innovative data pipelines and integrations.

Qualifications

- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer, demonstrating a strong track record of delivering enterprise-grade data solutions.
- Extensive experience working with Microsoft Azure Fabric, Databricks, and Azure data services.
- Solid understanding of SQL, data modeling concepts, and data architecture principles.
- Proficiency in building and maintaining scalable data pipelines, data integration solutions, and ETL/ELT processes.
- Experience with Python, Spark, or similar technologies preferred.
- Hands-on experience working with cloud-based data platforms in production environments, ensuring reliability and performance.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines using Microsoft Azure Fabric, ensuring they meet business requirements.




- Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes for both structured and unstructured data sources, ensuring data quality and consistency.
- Collaborate with business teams to understand data needs and translate them into technical solutions that support analytics and decision-making.
- Implement performance tuning and optimization strategies to enhance data processing workflows, reducing costs and improving efficiency.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering practices to accelerate delivery timelines and improve solution quality.
- Proactively troubleshoot and resolve production issues, identifying areas for process improvement and automation.
- Work closely with architects, analysts, and fellow developers throughout the project lifecycle to ensure seamless integration and deployment of data solutions.
- Maintain documentation and ensure adherence to best practices for data security, governance, and compliance.
