Data Manager

Society for Applied Studies (SAS), a Delhi based not-for- profit research organization invites applications from Data Managers to provide data management support in designing and developing data management systems for one of our studies in District Una, Himachal Pradesh.

Place of Work: The position is based at the study site (District Una) in Himachal Pradesh will be for the duration of the Pilot Scale-up Programme of WINGS interventions.

Essential Qualifications:

× Postgraduate degree in Biostatistics, Public Health, Epidemiology, Data Science, Population Studies, or a related field.

× Minimum of 5 years of relevant qualified experience in data handling and analysis.

Salary: Commensurate with experience.

Job Description:

× Designing and developing ODK-based data management systems for research studies.

× Manage large-scale data received from the field teams and ensure accurate and timely data entry and management.

× Maintenance of data quality through regular checks and audits.

× Conduct data extraction, cleaning, analysis,



and reporting using visualization and reporting tools to define and develop a data dashboard.

× Preparation of monitoring reports and presentations.

× Establish a mechanism to periodically share generated data with the program team.

× The candidate will report to the Program manager and work in close collaboration with the PI and Co. PI of the project.

Skills and Experience:

× Good knowledge of ODK-based data collection tools.

× Experience in handling cross-sectional data in Excel, Stata, or R.

× Hands-on experience with popular data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.

× Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

× Ability to quickly learn new tools/techniques for data analysis, if required.

× Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
