Role Description

Nikah Forever is hiring a Video Editing Intern to edit high-retention Instagram Reels and short-form video content. while adding agile captions, sound effects, basic motion graphics, and clean cuts to build strong hooks and fast-paced edits. We are looking for candidates proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, with basic knowledge of After Effects for text animations and a solid grasp of Instagram trends in both Hindi and English. Experience with AI tools, basic sound design, color grading, or motion graphics is a plus.

What You'll Do

- Edit Instagram Reels, interviews, promotional videos and other short-form content
- Transform raw footage into clear and engaging visual stories
- Create strong hooks and maintain effective pacing to improve audience retention
- Add subtitles, B-roll, text animations, transitions and motion graphics
- Perform audio clean-up, music selection, sound-effects placement and basic sound design
- Handle basic colour correction and colour grading
- Repurpose content into formats such as 9:16,



1:1 and 16:9
- Work closely with the content, marketing and design teams
- Incorporate feedback and complete revisions within deadlines
- Research current editing trends and adapt them to NikahForever's professional brand identity
- Organise project files, footage and exported content efficiently

Skills We're Looking For

- Strong working knowledge of DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere Pro
- Basic-to-good knowledge of After Effects, Fusion or another motion-graphics tool
- Understanding of short-form storytelling, hooks and audience retention
- Good sense of pacing, clean cuts, transitions, typography and subtitle placement
- Basic knowledge of sound design, audio clean-up and colour correction
- Familiarity with Instagram Reels and other social-media content formats
- Ability to work comfortably with both Hindi and English content
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines
- Openness to feedback and the ability to complete revisions quickly

Good to Have

- Experience editing interviews, podcasts or talking-head videos
- Knowledge of animated infographics and motion graphics
- Familiarity with Canva, Photoshop or Illustrator
- Understanding of Reel covers and social-media thumbnails
- Experience using AI-assisted editing, transcription or captioning tools
- Basic understanding of stock footage, music licensing and copyright guidelines
- Interest in relationship, lifestyle or Muslim-focused content
