Job Description: ServiceNow Developer

As ServiceNow Developer, you will work as a core member of the team to design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements.

Responsibilities

Domain separation

Creation of script-based Assignment and Approval rule.

Creation of Business Rule, UI Action by using Glide script.

Creation of Glide Record object and use of several other significant objects as these objects are created for you when your script is called.

Creation of custom related list.

Creation of Access Control List with the help of Scripting.

Creation of Script based UI Policy and Client Script.

Glide Ajax, Glide Form (g_form), Glide User (g_user), Glide Record, Glide System, Glide Element, Glide Aggregate

Querying the table by using Glide Record

Debugging script, working with complex Log Files.

Creating and customizing UI and pages using Jelly

Render forms, lists, UI Pages, and many other things in Service-now.com with the help of Jelly

Designing of Macros and Formatters.

Web Service Integration

Use of Import Sets for data loading from external file or database to the service-now.

Skills

At least 4-6 years experienced in ServiceNow Development & Support Team with hands-on experience in developing,



maintaining and enhance applications on the ServiceNow ITSM platform (help desk/service management)

Demonstrate expert knowledge of ServiceNow toolset and integrations with related systems.

ServiceNow implementation experience in ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB & Asset).

Provide technical assessments, written documentation and technical expertise.

Be available for on-call rotation to support any production issues impacting ServiceNow or its related systems within the enterprise.

Good knowledge of CMDB, Discovery, MID Server Architecture, Probes, Sensors, Identifiers.

Knowledge of Infrastructure / Networking.

Analyse client environment's current state, maturity and complexities, and advise on best practice solutions.

Communicate with the client on all aspects of initiated work in a clear and concise manner

Communicate all project updates, possible timeline deficiencies, problems, issues or events that could affect the overall project deliverables to customers on behalf of the

team

Participate in internal or customer meetings as required adding value where and when required.

Good communication, written and documentation skills to gather requirements from customers, process owners and end users

Manage Team performance and collaboration
