This role leads global sourcing and procurement for electrical and wiring harness components managing OEM and distributor channels to ensure cost-effective timely and compliant material availability It combines strategic supplier development with operational excellence driving negotiations contracts inventory planning and team capability building across US Europe and APAC regions Lead procurement and supplier management for electrical electronic components and wiring harness commodities Develop sourcing strategies across OEM and distributor channels while driving negotiations cost modelling contract management inventory planning and demand alignment with PPC Represent the organisation confidently with global suppliers building long-term strategic partnerships Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering Quality and Program teams to ensure material readiness and compliance with aerospace standards Build and mature the SCM team coach junior buyers instil process discipline and elevate sourcing capability Only candidates with strong procurement exp in electrical electronics component Engineer or SCM professional with ability to manage both OEM and distributors An ideal candidate will have an engineering or supply chain background with 10 years of experience in procurement and supplier management They should have a solid understanding of electrical and electronic components with wiring harness exposure being a strong plus They must be comfortable managing both OEM and distributor ecosystems within aerospace electronics EMS or similar industries Solid negotiation skills cost engineering capability ERP proficiency and global sourcing experience are essential The role also calls for clear communication confident stakeholder management across US Europe and APAC suppliers and proven leadership in guiding and developing procurement teams Our client is a global player in high-reliability electrical systems delivering wiring harnesses electromechanical assemblies and integrated solutions for aerospace and defence programs worldwide They work closely with leading international OEMs across the US Europe and the Middle East Work on high-impact aerospace and defence programs while partnering with global OEMs and driving sourcing for complex EWIS systems Lead procurement in a fast-growing organisation with global exposure and real ownership during a major expansion phase
