Role Description The Technical Superintendent (Offshore) is a full-time, on-site role based in Navi Mumbai, responsible for the technical oversight and safe operation of assigned offshore vessels. The role includes planning and supervising maintenance, repairs, and dry-dock activities, ensuring compliance with class, flag state, and company standards.
The Technical Superintendent monitors vessel performance, reviews inspection reports, addresses technical issues, and supports onboard teams with troubleshooting and operational guidance. Day-to-day responsibilities also involve coordinating with ship management, procurement, and marine engineering teams,



preparing budgets and technical documentation, and ensuring that all activities follow maritime safety regulations and company procedures.
Qualifications

- Strong ship management and maritime operations skills, with experience overseeing offshore vessels.
- Proficiency in inspection processes, including condition assessments, safety checks, and compliance audits.
- Solid marine engineering knowledge, covering vessel machinery, systems, maintenance planning, and repair coordination.
- Background in sailing or onboard experience, providing practical understanding of vessel operations and crew support.
- Degree or diploma in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related technical discipline; Class engineer license or equivalent certification is an advantage.
- Familiarity with international maritime regulations, classification society rules, and HSEQ standards.
- Ability to work on-site in Navi Mumbai, manage multiple vessels, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills, with proficiency in common office and maintenance management software.
