Role Description The Junior Video Editor role at K Communications is a full-time, on-site position based in Thane. In this role, the team member will assist in editing video content for various campaigns, including social media, digital ads, and branded content. Day-to-day responsibilities include assembling raw footage, trimming and sequencing clips, adding basic transitions, and supporting color grading and motion graphics integration. The Junior Video Editor will collaborate closely with senior editors, designers, and creative strategists to maintain brand consistency, meet project deadlines, and ensure high production quality across all deliverables.

Qualifications

- Strong foundational skills in Video Editing and Video Production,



with the ability to work with raw footage and basic timelines.
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency and enhance overall look and feel.
- Ability to work with Motion Graphics and Graphics to support titles, lower thirds, and easy animated elements.
- Familiarity with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro) and graphics tools (e.g., After Effects, Photoshop).
- Attention to detail, strong visual storytelling ability, and willingness to learn from feedback in a fast-paced agency environment.
- Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site in Thane and coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant coursework, certification, or a degree in film, media, design, or a related field, and a portfolio or showreel demonstrating previous video work.
