Missions

Phosphea (TIMAB India) is specialist in mineral-based solutions for animal nutrition. Phosphea, a subsidiary of Groupe Roullier, has produced and sold Feed Phosphates for the animal nutrition industry for 40 years, it is now European leader and 2nd worldwide player. Phosphea operates in over 100 countries worldwide and has a workforce of 530 employees. Our R&D; team is working on the chemistry of our feed material to bring them beyond the supply of element. In fact, through the appropriate knowledge of our product we are targeting precision nutrition, animal performances and formulation optimization.

TIMAB India was incorporated in 2014 with registered office in Chennai and rapidly grown and emerged as leader in Feed Phosphates segment in India for last ten years. Now TIMAB India would like to spread its business into value added poultry nutrition products.

To support its development, TIMAB India (Phosphea) is currently hiring a:

Finance and Accounts Executive (M/F)
Permanent contract - Based in Chennai (India)

Your main goal:

Reporting to the Finance Controller,



you will handle the day-to-day Accounting and controls of the business.

Your missions

Management of entire book keeping – AP

-GR Booking, Payable creation, Invoice Receipt, Vouching, Accounting.
- Assessment of provisions and booking for expenses and liabilities
- Knocking off the payables and cleaning up the Supplier ledger
- Creating Hedging requests, FX Accounting, FX Payments
- Working with teams to understand the shortfalls and raising debit notes immediately.

Month Closing and GL

- Accounting for Expenses, Incomes for book closing
- Maintenance of Fixed asset ledger
- Creating provisions and write-off’s

Bank Co-ordination

- Preparation of BRS on weekly basis and reconciliation on month close
- Loading Payables to Bank portal and initiating communications for approvals
- Receivable knocking off

Tax Filings

- TDS Return computation and closing before due date
- Filing of GST Return – Outwards Before 10th and 3B Before 18th of a given month.
- QTRLY reconciliation between GST portal Vs. Books
- Follow-up with suppliers for GAP

Profil

Your profile:

- Bachelor’s degree in finance/ Accounting
- 1 to 3 years minimum of experience in a similar position
- Capacity to handle IGAAP Audit requirements and Queries
- Highly Efficient to work in Excel, PowerPoint and Word; SAP Knowledge is an added advantage.
- Efficient to communicate with Sales, Logistics, Management and Head Quarters Team
- Capable to work in multi-cultural environment and open for change
- Fluent in English
