The department prepares and review Financial Statements comprising of Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss Account, Cash Flow Statement, Notes on Accounts and other Annexures to Annual or Interim Reports like Statement of Investments, Statement of Changes in Capital etc. for set of Funds administered by MSS globally.
The Opportunity:
Preparation and Review of Financial Statements (Balance Sheet, Income statement, cash flow, relevant working papers, notes to accounts, Schedule of Investments etc.) in accordance with local legal requirements and relevant accounting standards for the respective country, i.e. IFRS or US GAAP or UK SORP or Local GAAPs as applicable and within strict timelines.
What you'll do:

- Preparing and Reviewing Financial Statements, in accordance with local legal requirements and relevant accounting standards for the respective country, i.e. IFRS or US GAAP or Local GAAPs as applicable and within strict timelines.
- Supporting the audit / review process as and when required. Also,



support on other ancillary activities to the preparation of FS and/or audit process.
- Ability to understand client and jurisdiction requirements and conform to them for all deliverables.
- Support the Manager in the process and to work in perfect harmony to ensure service level excellence.
- Identifying and Implementing opportunities for process efficiencies.
- Regularly update all related management reporting checklists and templates.

Requirements

What you will need to succeed in the role:

- Commerce graduate or post graduate with relevant working experience.
- Qualified qualification in the fields of Accounting like CA, ICWA, CFA and CS with relevant working experience.
- Strong Accounting Concepts with a clear understanding of financial statements.
- Sound knowledge of various types of assets, Funds Administration and accounting services and understanding of valuations cycle, financial instruments, corporate actions and accounting concepts.
- Understanding of the Accounting Standards and the ability to relate them to the disclosures in the Financial Statements. Exposure to IFRS and US GAAP will be desirable.

What additional skills will be good to have?

- Strong MS Excel and MS Word skills.
- Should have an eye for detail and a strong analytical mind.




- Efficient Time Management and ability to multi task work and prioritize to meet defined deadlines
- Should be able to communicate effectively with overseas customers and employees.
- Proactive in accomplishing tasks without being asked to do so.
