We are seeking an experienced Workday Functional Consultant with solid hands -on expertise in Workday HR processes, specifically in Absence Management and Compensation. The ideal candidate should be able to design solutions, configure Workday modules, perform data conversions, and understand HR integrations with other modules and systems. This role requires close collaboration with HR, IT, and cross -functional teams to ensure effective Workday implementation and ongoing enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
Workday Functional Design & Configuration
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for HR processes.
- Design, configure, test, and deploy Workday solutions primarily in:
- Configure business processes, security roles, rules, eligibility criteria, accruals, comp plans, and advanced compensation features.
Data Migration & Conversions
- Lead and support data conversion activities, including:
- Mapping legacy HR data to Workday objects
- Preparing EIB templates
- Validating inbound/outbound data loads
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and successful end -to -end migration during new implementations or enhancements.
Testing & Deployment
- Develop test scenarios, scripts, and support unit, SIT, and UAT cycles.
- Troubleshoot and resolve defects by analyzing configuration, business processes, and cross -module impacts.
- Support production deployments and post -implementation validation.
Integration & Cross -Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with integration teams to ensure HR data interfaces flow seamlessly between Workday and other systems (payroll, time, benefits, ERP, etc.).
- Understand Workday security, reporting, and domain/functional dependencies.
- Provide functional expertise in Workday to internal teams and guide best practices.
Documentation & Support
- Create configuration documents, process flows, SOPs, and end -user training material.
- Provide ongoing support for Workday Absence & Compensation issues, enhancements, and new feature adoption.
- Stay updated with Workday releases and recommend optimization opportunities.
Required Skills & Experience
Must -Have
- 2+ years of hands -on Workday configuration experience (Absence or Compensation mandatory; both preferred).
- Experience working on at least two Workday projects (implementation or major enhancement).
- Strong understanding of HR processes:
- Leave & Time Off policies, accruals, time calculations
