Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled SYNON/AS400 Developer with 7 to 9 years of total IT experience, including 5 to 6 years of hands-on expertise in SYNON/2E (CA 2E) development on the AS400 (iSeries) platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and enhancing enterprise applications using SYNON/2E, RPG, and CL. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with deep technical knowledge of AS400 systems, are essential.

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, test, and implement applications using SYNON/2E, RPG, and CL on the AS400 (iSeries) platform.

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices.

- Provide production support and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth system functionality.





- Maintain and update existing AS400 applications based on changing business needs.

- Collaborate with business analysts, testers, and other development teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

- Create and maintain documentation related to design, configuration, and development processes.

- Ensure compliance with IBM and client-specific security and performance standards.

Requirements

- 7–9 years in IT, with 5–6 years in SYNON/2E (CA 2E) development on the AS400 (iSeries) platform.​

- Strong expertise in SYNON/2E, RPG, RPGLE, and CL programming languages.​

- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.​
