We are seeking a Portugueseâspeaking Contract Lawyer with around three years of legal experience. The ideal candidate must have handsâon experience in Investigations, Compliance, Financial Services, and/or Insurance. This role involves reviewing legal documentation, supporting regulatory processes, and assisting with riskârelated matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze contracts and legal documents in Portuguese and English.
- Support investigations by reviewing evidence, identifying risk issues, and summarizing findings.
- Assist Compliance teams with regulatory research, policy reviews, and risk assessments.
- Provide legal support on matters related to Financial Services and Insurance, ensuring alignment with applicable regulations.
- Work crossâfunctionally with legal, compliance, risk, and business teams to support ongoing matters.
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold confidentiality and dataâprotection standards.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Law degree (LLB/JD) with Portuguese language skills (Brazilian).
- Approximately 3 years of legal experience.
- Demonstrated experience in Investigations / Compliance / Financial Services / Insurance.
- Solid written and verbal proficiency in Portuguese and English.
- Ability to provide clear legal analysis and identify risk areas.
