Overview :

This role is focused on developing, maintaining, and optimizing advanced Excel-based tools, primarily using VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) to automate business processes. The person in this position will act as a bridge between business users and data, ensuring efficient, accurate, and reliable reporting and automation solutions.

Requirements:

- Develop, maintain, and enhance complex Excel spreadsheets using VBA (Visual Basic for Applications).

- Automate repetitive tasks and manual processes through advanced macro solutions.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering) to understand reporting and automation needs.

- Build user-friendly dashboards and data models using Excel formulas, pivot tables, and macros.

- Troubleshoot and optimize existing macros for performance and reliability.

- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all macro-enabled reporting tools.

- Document processes, workflows,



and macro functions for internal training and support.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- 10+ years of hands-on experience developing and maintaining Excel macros using VBA.

- Strong knowledge of Excel functions, pivot tables, Power Query, and data visualization techniques.

- Experience in data manipulation, automation, and reporting in a regulated or highly analytical environment.

- Familiarity with database tools (SQL), ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP), or Power BI is a plus.

- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into productive technical solutions.

- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
