Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Technical Consultant with a strong background in PeopleSoft HCM systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining technical solutions in the PeopleSoft environment, particularly focused on HR, Payroll, and Benefits modules. The candidate should demonstrate deep knowledge of PeopleSoft table structures, programming techniques, and data extraction processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, test, and maintain PeopleSoft technical components including Application Engine programs, SQRs, PeopleCode, Component Interfaces, and Integration Broker.

- Perform complex data extraction from PeopleSoft HCM, Payroll,



and Perks modules to support downstream systems and reporting.

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions within PeopleSoft.

- Troubleshoot and resolve production support issues related to PeopleSoft applications.

- Work closely with functional teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

- Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies when handling sensitive employee information.

- Take complete ownership of assigned tasks and drive them to successful completion with minimal supervision.

Required Skills:

- 8+ years of hands-on experience in PeopleSoft technical development.

- Strong expertise in PeopleSoft HCM, including core HR, Payroll, and Benefits.

- In-depth understanding of PeopleSoft table structures and data relationships.

- Proficiency in PeopleSoft tools: Application Engine, PeopleCode, SQR, PS Query, and Integration Broker.

- Experience developing and optimizing data extraction programs.

- Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases.

- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and take full ownership of deliverables.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with PeopleSoft 9.x or higher.

- Familiarity with reporting tools like BI Publisher or XML Publisher.

- Prior experience in upgrading or implementing PeopleSoft modules.

- Exposure to Agile development practices and DevOps tools.
