- Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Pentaho Kettle and AWS Glue.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions across multiple databases (PostgreSQL, MSSQL, Oracle).
- Perform database administration (DBA) tasks including performance tuning, backup, recovery, and security management.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth integration of data from HES, MDMS, WFMS systems, with a solid understanding of DISCOM AMI processes.
- Work closely with business teams to understand source data models and ensure accurate data extraction and transformation.
- Provide technical expertise and support for data migration, validation, and troubleshooting.
Requirements
- Strong Database Skills: PostgreSQL, MSSQL, Oracle – ability to write complex queries and procedures.
- DBA Expertise: Database administration, performance tuning, and security.
- ETL Tools: Proficient in Pentaho Kettle and AWS Glue for job creation and execution.
- Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with DISCOM AMI processes (HES, MDMS, WFMS) and related data models.
- Excellent problem -solving and communication skills.
