Job Description

- Analyze and comprehend existing mainframe systems and applications.

- Design, develop, and deploy new mainframe applications and enhancements.

- Troubleshoot and resolve mainframe application issues.

- Optimize mainframe applications for performance and efficiency.

- Adhere to coding standards and best practices.

- Stay updated on the latest mainframe technologies and trends.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Strong experience in mainframe programming languages such as COBOL, JCL, and Assembler.





- Familiarity with mainframe operating systems (e.g., z/OS).

- Knowledge of mainframe database management systems (e.g., DB2).

- Understanding of mainframe tools and utilities (e.g., ISPF, TSO, SDSF).

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with mainframe modernization projects.

- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
