Job Title: Ignition SCADA Professionals

Summary

We are seeking an experienced Ignition SCADA Professional to lead the design, configuration, and deployment of Ignition SCADA and MES applications across manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will have a strong background in SCADA engineering, Ignition SCADA, and MES functions, with a proven track record of delivering high-availability and performance solutions. This role requires a strong technical leader who can collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior engineers.

Responsibilities

- Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of Ignition SCADA and MES applications across manufacturing operations

- Architect and implement real-time data acquisition, visualization, and reporting solutions

- Ensure seamless integration of OT systems, PLC, SCADA, MES, with enterprise IT systems, ERP, databases, and cloud

- Develop and maintain secure and efficient data exchange using REST APIs, MQTT, and OPC UA protocols

- Manage industrial databases, SQL historian, and timeseries databases for high availability and performance

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align system capabilities with production and business needs

- Provide technical leadership in digital transformation initiatives, such as Industry 4.0, smart manufacturing, and predictive analytics

- Troubleshoot, optimize, and support existing SCADA/MES deployments to ensure minimal downtime





- Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge sharing across the engineering team

Requirements

Requirements:

- 3+ years of relevant experience in Ignition SCADA and SCADA/MES engineering within the manufacturing industry

- Proven expertise with Ignition SCADA, Inductive Automation, including scripting, module configuration, and project deployment

- Solid background in MES functions, production tracking, OEE, downtime analysis, traceability, SPC, etc.

- Proficiency with database technologies, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or equivalent

- Hands-on experience with OT/IT integration technologies

- REST APIs for system interconnectivity

- MQTT for IIoT messaging and lightweight communication

- OPC UA for industrial interoperability

- Strong knowledge of industrial control systems, PLC, SCADA, HMIs, and plant floor connectivity

- Familiarity with manufacturing standards, ISA95, ISA88, ISA99, IEC 62443

- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills

- Experience with cloud-based IIoT platforms, Azure IoT, AWS IoT, etc.

- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices in OT environments

- Familiarity with containerization, Docker, Kubernetes, for SCADA/MES deployments

- Experience in working on large-scale digital transformation, Industry 4.0 projects

- Certifications, Ignition Gold Certified Specialist, OPC UA, or relevant industrial IT/OT certifications
