Job Role: API Automation Test Engineer

Location: Bangalore

Experience: 6+ years

Must-Have:

- 6 years of relevant experience in API Automation with JavaScript

Responsibilities:

1. Define and frame program level test strategy with 6-9 years of in-depth knowledge

2. Define test plans with thorough understanding

3. Lead a team of both manual and automation resources

4. Produce QA related artifacts such as coverage report, RTM, and reports (weekly/daily)

5. Provide automation knowledge to address automation challenges

6. Derive end-to-end plan for testing requiring collaboration of multiple teams

7. Plan and strategize NFT (Non-Functional Testing)

8. Work in an Agile way with JIRA and have knowledge of test management tools (Zephyr/Test Rail etc.)

Toolset and Language Expertise:





- Design UI and API automation framework

- Positive understanding and hands-on experience in Java and one scripting language (preferably JavaScript)

- Hands-on experience with Rest Assured/Karate, Selenium/Cypress/Playwright, Junit, TestNG, Service Virtualization, TeamCity/GitLab, defining test strategy/plan, JIRA, and test governance
