For more information, click here.Role reports to:Automation and Integration LeadLocation:Latin America, Brazil, Sao Paulo, Sao Jose dos CamposWork Location:HybridWhat you will doThe Solution Architect Manager is accountable for defining, governing, and evolving the Global Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solution architecture while actively contributing to the development and implementation of the solution.The role serves as the bridge between business requirements, solution design, and technical implementation, ensuring alignment with Kenvue's global manufacturing digitization strategy.Additionally, this position is expected to remain hands-on and actively participate in configuration, development, troubleshooting, and technical leadership activities.This position will be based out of our location in São José dos Campos,



Brazil or in India.Key ResponsibilitiesSolution ArchitectureOwn and evolve Kenvue Global MES architecture based on the AVEVA MES solution stackDefine architecture standards, design principles, and reusable patternsEnsure consistency across sites, applications, integrations, and deploymentsEvaluate recent requirements and assess impact on the overall solution landscapeDrive architectural decisions and technical governanceHands-On Development & Technical LeadershipActively participate in MES configuration and development activitiesDevelop proof-of-concepts and complex solution componentsSupport resolution of critical technical issues and production incidentsPerform design and code reviewsDefine development standards and best practicesCoach and mentor internal and external developersProduct & Template OwnershipContribute to the evolution of the Global MES TemplateEnsure scalability, maintainability, and reusability of the solutionSupport rollout and deployment activitiesLead technical discussions regarding new capabilities and enhancementsVendor & Partner ManagementProvide technical leadership to development and architecture teams consist of internal and external (System Integrator) resourcesReview and challenge solution proposals from external partnersFacilitate engagement with AVEVA product teams, R&D;, and support organizations when requiredEnsure external resources follow Kenvue architecture and development standardsDelivery LeadershipCollaborate with Business Analysts to shape FDS, then own the creation of SDS, technical designs, and implementation approaches,



ensuring requirements are translated into scalable and executable development solutionsBreak down functional requirements into detailed technical work packages, development stories, and implementation tasksEnsure consistent interpretation of requirements across development teamsContribute to sprint planning and technical prioritizationKnowledge DevelopmentBuild and maintain MES expertise within KenvueCreate and maintain architecture documentationDrive knowledge transfer from suppliers to internal teamsSupport development of long-term internal capabilitiesWhat we are looking forRequired Skills & ExperienceTechnicalProven strong hands-on experience with AVEVA MES and AVEVA Work TasksStrong knowledge and experience integrating AVEVA MES with L2 (System Platform)Experience designing, developing, configuring, and supporting MES solutions in manufacturing environmentsStrong understanding of ISA-95 and manufacturing execution processesAdvanced SQL scripting skills, including troubleshooting, performance optimization, stored procedures, and data analysisStrong JavaScript development skills for MES forms customization and application developmentExperience working with Azure DevOps / GitHub-based development lifecycle, including backlog management, sprint execution, CI/CD concepts, and release managementExperience with MES integrations, APIs, database interfaces, and enterprise systemsAbility to troubleshoot complex technical issues across application, integration, and database layersLeadershipAbility to lead technical teams without direct management authorityStrong stakeholder management skillsAbility to challenge suppliers and drive technical decisionsStrong problem-solving and analytical skills If you are an individual with a disability, please check our Disability Assistance page for information on how to request an accommodation.
