Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer with expertise in Python, AWS, and ETL to join our team for a 6-month engagement. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based data solutions while ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.

This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to build and optimize data pipelines and cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-based solutions on AWS.
- Build, optimize, and manage ETL pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and processing.
- Develop automation scripts and backend services using Python.
- Implement and maintain cloud infrastructure following AWS best practices.
- Optimize data workflows for performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver robust solutions.
- Monitor cloud environments and troubleshoot production issues.
- Ensure security, compliance, and governance standards are followed.




- Document technical designs, deployment procedures, and operational processes.

Required Skills

- 8–12 years of overall IT experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python development.
- Extensive experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, Glue, IAM, Cloud Watch, RDS, or related services.
- Strong expertise in designing and implementing ETL processes and data pipelines.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Knowledge of cloud architecture, automation, and infrastructure best practices.
- Robust analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with data engineering and cloud-native architectures.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops practices.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform or AWS Cloud Formation) is an advantage.
- AWS Certification is preferred.
- Exposure to Agile development methodologies.
