Job Title: SAP ABAP Consultant

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled SAP ABAP Consultant to design, develop, test, and support SAP applications using ABAP programming. The ideal candidate will work closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality SAP solutions aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

ABAP Development:

Develop and maintain SAP applications using ABAP/ABAP OO

Design and enhance Reports (ALV, Interactive, Classical), Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms (RICEF)

Create and modify SmartForms, SAP Scripts, and Adobe Forms

Develop BAPIs, RFCs, IDOCs, and function modules

SAP Customization & Enhancements

Implement User Exits, BADI, Enhancements Framework

Work on Module Pool programming and Dialog Programming

Optimize existing ABAP programs for performance and scalability

Integration & Support

Collaborate with Functional Consultants (MM, SD, FI, CO, PP, HR, etc.)

Provide production support, bug fixes, and performance tuning

Participate in UAT, system testing, and deployment activities

Documentation & Standards





Prepare technical specifications and documentation

Follow SAP best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

Robust experience in SAP ABAP & ABAP OO

Expertise in Reports, Interfaces, Enhancements, Forms

Knowledge of Data Dictionary (Tables, Views, Indexes, Search Helps)

Experience with ALV Grid / OO ALV

Familiarity with IDOCs, BAPI, RFC

Understanding of SAP Workflows (preferred)

Exposure to SAP HANA (CDS Views, AMDP) is a plus

Functional & Soft Skills

Good understanding of SAP business processes

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with S/4HANA migration or implementation

Knowledge of OData, Fiori integration

SAP certification in ABAP or relevant modules
