We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Manager - Java Full Stack to join our Global Markets IT team in Mumbai. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and installing software solutions, as well as providing technical leadership and guidance to the team. Job Responsibilities
- Engineer solutions for complex problems involving capital markets platforms
- Hands-on full-stack development (UI, Middleware, Services/API, Backend (SQL))
- Architect highly performant applications/modules using appropriate frameworks/tools
- Deliver robust and scalable solutions rapidly in an agile way
- Ensure usage of appropriate practices to ensure high quality and data security protocols
- Provide 3rd line support and work with the Application Production Support team
- Manage day-to-day tasks and be accountable for deliveries from offshore
- Collaborate with Onshore and Offshore teams
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related area (e.g. Computer Science, Information Technology)
- 7-10 years of hands-on experience in Java full-stack development
- Strong knowledge of Java (preferably Java 21), Spring Boot, Hibernate, and SQL
- Experience with front-end technologies such as Angular, RxJS, Typescript, and JavaScript
- Basic understanding of algorithms and data structures
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong communication and analytical skills
Good to Have Skills and Experience
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins
- Knowledge of cloud-based technologies and containerization (e.g. Docker)
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g. Git)
- Experience with technical leadership and mentoring junior team members
- Certification in Java or related technologies
