Qualification: BE/ Btech/ MBA / PGDM / CA / CFA / ICWA or equivalent postgraduate qualification. Relevant certifications in Compliance, Risk Management, Audit, Payments, or Governance preferred.
Role Purpose
Lead product governance, compliance, audit, regulatory oversight, and ecosystem engagement for digital payment products and services. Ensure adherence to RBI regulations, NPCI guidelines, statutory requirements, and internal governance frameworks while driving operational excellence, automation, and customer-centric initiatives.

Key Experience
- Thorough understanding of digital payment products, payment systems, and operational processes.
- Significant experience in Product Management, Governance, Compliance, Audit, and Regulatory Affairs.
- Experience in liaising with regulators, banks, financial institutions, and ecosystem participants.
- Exposure to automation, analytics, and governance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end product governance, compliance, and policy management across payment products.
- Draft, review, and publish procedural guidelines, circulars, operating standards, and market-facing documents.
- Manage governance forums, steering committees, and product review processes.
- Review and maintain product information, performance statistics, publications, and member communications.
- Lead internal, statutory, quality, and regulatory audits, inspections, and compliance assessments.
- Ensure adherence to RBI regulations, NPCI guidelines, statutory requirements, and internal governance frameworks.
- Monitor compliance of member banks and ecosystem participants with NPCI circulars, directives, and operating procedures.
- Liaise with RBI, DFS, UIDAI, IBA, banks, financial institutions, PSPs, TPAPs, and other ecosystem stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Product, Business, Technology, Operations, Risk, Legal, Audit, and Compliance teams on governance and compliance initiatives.
- Prepare regulatory submissions, MIS, dashboards, business analytics, Board notes, agendas, and governance reports.
- Track and ensure timely closure of audit observations, Board actions, RBI review comments, and Action Taken Reports (ATRs).
- Create and manage dashboards for governance, compliance, performance, and statistical reporting.
- Support customer-centric initiatives, including customer experience improvement and NPS programs.
- Drive implementation, operations, and governance of market-wide product initiatives and ecosystem programs.
- Drive automation, digitization, and AI-enabled initiatives for compliance monitoring, governance, reporting, and analytics.
