Key Responsibilities
- Own store-level and network-level inventory planning, replenishment, and stock availability
- Drive improvement in availability, replenishment, inventory turns, and service-levels
- Manage assortment health by tracking priority SKUs, slow movers, non-moving inventory, listing readiness, and store-wise assortment coverage.
- Partner with category and demand planning teams to align inventory with campaigns, seasonality, business priorities, launches, and demand trends.
- Build and maintain dashboards / reports for availability, OOS, assortment health, replenishment SLA, launch readiness, inventory ageing, and operational exceptions.
- Conduct root-cause analysis for recurring stockouts, inventory mismatches, delayed replenishment, and fulfilment issues.
- Drive cross-functional reviews with category, supply chain, warehouse, store operations, and business teams to ensure closure of planning and operational actions.
- Lead strategic projects related to store expansion readiness, assortment optimization, and quick commerce supply chain scalability.
Key KPIs
- Availability percentage across priority SKUs, categories, and stores.
- Reduction in out-of-stock instances.
- Replenishment / STO SLA compliance.
- Assortment health and active assortment coverage.
- Inventory turns, sell-through, and ageing inventory control.
- Reverse logistics and lifecycle action compliance.
- Reporting accuracy, dashboard adoption, and automation impact.
Skills & Competencies
- Inventory planning, replenishment, and supply chain analytics.
- Quick commerce / e-commerce / retail supply chain understanding.
- Assortment planning and availability management.
- Strong Excel skills; SQL preferred.
- Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar BI tools preferred.
- Robust problem-solving, RCA, and continuous improvement mindset.
- Ability to manage large datasets and translate insights into business actions.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional execution skills.
- High ownership, bias for action, and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, or related field.
- MBA preferred but not mandatory.
Preferred experience in e-commerce, quick commerce, FMCG, retail, grocery, beauty and personal care, or high-velocity fulfilment businesses.
