Position Summary

We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and result-oriented Mathematics Teacher for Classes VI to X. The ideal candidate should possess strong subject expertise, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to foster mathematical thinking among students. The teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, building conceptual clarity, enhancing problem-solving skills, and preparing students for academic excellence and competitive challenges.

Key Responsibilities

Academic Responsibilities

- Teach Mathematics to students of Classes VI to X in accordance with CBSE curriculum guidelines.
- Deliver lessons that promote conceptual understanding, critical thinking, and real-life application of mathematical concepts.
- Plan and execute effective lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and enrichment activities.
- Integrate foundational concepts relevant to Olympiads and other competitive examinations.
- Encourage logical reasoning, analytical thinking, and mathematical problem-solving abilities.
- Conduct remedial and enrichment sessions based on individual student learning needs.
- Ensure timely completion of syllabus as per academic calendar and micro-schedule.

Assessment & Evaluation

- Design and administer class tests, unit tests, periodic assessments, projects, and examinations.
- Prepare question papers aligned with CBSE competency-based education standards.
- Analyze student performance and maintain detailed academic records.
- Identify learning gaps and implement corrective action plans.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and parents regarding academic progress.
- Participate in result analysis and academic review meetings.

Classroom Management

- Create a positive, disciplined, and inclusive learning environment.
- Foster student engagement through interactive and activity-based teaching methodologies.
- Encourage collaborative learning and healthy academic competition.




- Maintain classroom discipline in accordance with school policies.

Technology Integration

- Utilize Smart Boards, digital learning platforms, presentations, simulations, and educational software to enhance learning outcomes.
- Leverage technology for assessments, assignments, performance tracking, and student engagement.
- Support blended learning initiatives and digital classroom practices.

Student Development

- Mentor and guide students in academic and personal growth.
- Prepare students for Mathematics Olympiads, talent search examinations, and other academic competitions.
- Conduct doubt-clearing sessions and problem-solving workshops.
- Encourage curiosity, confidence, and independent learning among students.

Parent Communication

- Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student performance and development.
- Attend Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) and academic counseling sessions.
- Provide actionable feedback and learning strategies to support student success.

Administrative Responsibilities

- Maintain attendance records, assessment reports, and academic documentation.
- Participate in curriculum planning, faculty meetings, workshops, and professional development programs.
- Support school events, examinations, co-curricular activities, and academic initiatives.
- Contribute to the preparation of study materials, question banks, worksheets, and academic resources.

Required Qualifications

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Science, or a related discipline.
- B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is preferred .
- Master's Degree in Mathematics will be preferred.

Experience





- Minimum 25 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school.
- Experience teaching Classes VI to X is preferred.
- Experience in Olympiad training or foundation programs will be an added advantage.
