Position: Merchandiser (Plush Toys)

Role Summary

The Senior Merchandiser will be responsible for managing buyer accounts, product development, costing, order execution, production coordination, quality follow-up, and timely shipment of plush toy orders. The role requires close coordination with customers, sourcing, production, quality, and logistics teams to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle buyer communication, inquiries, quotations, and order confirmations.
• Coordinate product development, sampling, approvals, and customer feedback.
• Prepare costing sheets and negotiate pricing to achieve target margins.
• Coordinate with sourcing teams for fabrics, fillings, trims, accessories, and packaging materials.
• Monitor production schedules and ensure timely execution of orders.




• Work closely with QA teams to maintain product quality and compliance standards.
• Track order status from development to shipment and proactively resolve issues.
• Coordinate shipment planning and documentation with logistics and export teams.
• Maintain merchandising reports, order trackers, and customer updates.
• Build strong relationships with buyers and ensure high customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Graduate in Business, Textile, Fashion, Marketing, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of merchandising experience in plush toys, toys, home textiles, garments, or related industries.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and customer management skills.
• Knowledge of costing, sourcing, production planning, and export documentation.
• Good command of MS Excel, ERP systems, and reporting tools.
• Ability to manage multiple orders and meet deadlines.
