Senior Accountant

Hyphen Cables Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior Accountant to independently manage the companys accounting and finance operations. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in bookkeeping, GST, TDS, banking transactions, Bank Guarantees (BG), Letters of Credit (LC), MIS reporting and statutory compliance.

The candidate must be capable of managing the complete accounting function with accuracy, ownership and minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, journal entries and ledger posting.
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and ensure proper ledger management.
- Handle bank reconciliation, customer reconciliation and vendor reconciliation.
- Manage GST and TDS-related accounting, compliance, reconciliations and coordination with consultants.
- Handle and maintain accounting records related to Bank Guarantees (BG), Letters of Credit (LC), advance payments and other banking transactions.
- Prepare and analyse MIS reports, ageing reports, financial summaries and management reports using Advanced Excel.
- Monitor accounts receivable, accounts payable and outstanding payments.
- Verify invoices, purchase bills, debit notes, credit notes and other financial documents.
- Handle monthly closing activities and assist in year-end closing and statutory audits.
- Coordinate with banks, vendors, customers, auditors and internal departments.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with applicable accounting and statutory requirements.
- Take complete ownership of the accounts function, from daily accounting entries to monthly closing and audit coordination.

Required Skills & Experience





- 10+ years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance is mandatory.
- Experience in manufacturing, infrastructure, electrical or power sector will be preferred.
- Strong hands-on experience in Busy Accounting Software.
- In-depth knowledge of GST, TDS, statutory compliance and reconciliations.
- Strong practical knowledge of Bank Guarantees (BG) and Letters of Credit (LC).
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel / Advanced Excel and MIS reporting.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping, ledger management and financial accounting.
- Good knowledge of banking transactions and vendor/customer outstanding management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional email communication and strong coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently with a high level of accuracy and responsibility.
