Role & responsibilities :

- Analyze manufacturing and operational data to improve yield, quality, and efficiency
- Collect, clean, consolidate, and interpret data from ERP systems, production logs, quality systems, and equipment sensors
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities
- Build and deploy data models for:
- Yield improvement
- Process optimization
- Quality prediction
- Predictive maintenance
- Apply statistical and machine learning techniques using Python/R and SQL
- Create dashboards and visualizations using Power BI/Tableau for business insights
- Translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations for operations teams
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Operations, Plant, and IT teams for data-driven decision-making
- Develop repeatable analytical models and reporting frameworks
- Support integration of analytical models into operational workflows and reporting systems
- Ensure data accuracy, documentation, and maintainability of models and processes
- Identify gaps in data collection and recommend improvements




- Drive operational excellence through analytics-based process improvements
- Conduct presentations, knowledge sharing, and training sessions for internal teams
- Work on KPI tracking, process variability reduction, cost optimization, and efficiency enhancement.

Preferred candidate profile:

- Preferred experience in Manufacturing / Chemical / Process Industry
- Exposure to Manufacturing Analytics / Industrial Analytics
- Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Knowledge of Production, Operations, Quality, and Process Data Analysis
- Familiarity with Big Data technologies like Hadoop and Spark
- Exposure to Cloud Platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience in Predictive Maintenance and Process Optimization projects
- Understanding of Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement concepts
- Strong capability in handling large and complex datasets
- Positive understanding of business processes and manufacturing KPIs
- Certifications in:
- Python/R
- Machine Learning
- Data Analytics
- SQL preferred
