Job Title: Project Manager

Location: India Remote

Contract: 6 Months

Key Result Areas:

- Lead and influence others including those more senior on best practices related to data engineering including SQL and BI reporting such as Qlik, Power BI.

- Experience in the core banking domain will be preferred.

- Hold regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address project-related questions or challenges.

- Determine and define clear deliverables, roles, and responsibilities for project staff.

- Research and evaluate hardware/software options and conduct cost/benefit analysis for major purchases.

- Recruit and train exceptional employees within the technical department.

- Ability to multi-task across multiple assignments and engagements.

- Update and maintain production technologies, ensuring proper maintenance and installation.

- Work with project leadership to assess organizational impediments, measure flow, and develop strategies for continuous improvement.

- Implement effective, flexible methodologies with simplified, consistent, and reusable processes, practices, and tools.

- Play an active role in leading agile teams and guiding project implementation.

- Inspire adoption of improved processes based on program retrospectives.

- Manage and lead a team of data engineers and BI developers throughout the project life cycle.

- Oversee each phase of the development life cycle and ensure objectives are met.





- Manage customer expectations.

- Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments.

- Accountable for project scope, schedule, and resource utilization.

Operating Environment, Framework, and Boundaries; Working Relationships:

- Agile-based development and project execution using tools such as JIRA and Azure DevOps.

- Regular collaboration with internal departments, suppliers, technical staff, and leadership.

- Agile team leadership and cross-functional team management.

- Project delivery within structured and versatile environments.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

- 15 20+ years of experience in Project Management.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile projects.

- Completed at least 20 Agile project cycles.

- Experience using Agile platforms such as JIRA and Azure DevOps.

- SQL and database experience preferred.

- Certified Scrum Master or equivalent qualification.

- Strong knowledge of Agile tools and practices.

- Team player with supervisory, coaching, planning, and management skills.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Excellent interpersonal relationship skills.
