The Manager QS Audit is responsible for reviewing and auditing all quantity surveying and commercial activities across Data Center projects. The role ensures accurate quantity measurements, contract compliance, cost optimization, billing validation, change management, and adherence to commercial governance throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Commercial & QS Audit
- Conduct periodic audits of Quantity Surveying processes across Data Center projects.
- Verify BOQs, quantity measurements, and cost estimates against approved drawings and specifications.
- Review contractor RA bills, subcontractor bills, and client invoices for accuracy.
- Audit procurement quantities, material reconciliation, and wastage analysis.
- Validate rate analysis, cost build-ups, and commercial assumptions.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and commercial procedures.
Cost Management :
- Monitor project budgets, commitments, and cost forecasts.
- Identify cost overruns and recommend corrective actions.
- Review variations, change orders, and claims for commercial validity.
- Perform cost benchmarking and value engineering reviews.
Contracts & Claims :
- Interpret EPC, Design & Build, and Item Rate Contracts.
- Review contractual risks and support dispute resolution.
- Assess extension of time (EOT) and additional cost claims.
- Ensure documentation supports contractual entitlements.

- Prepare audit reports highlighting risks, observations, and recommendations.
- Track closure of audit findings.
- Develop commercial audit checklists and standard operating procedures.
- Present audit findings to senior management.
Required Skills:
- Robust knowledge of Quantity Surveying principles.
- Expertise in Data Center construction methodologies.
- Excellent understanding of FIDIC, EPC, and other standard contracts.
