Snowflake Administrator - Key responsibilities

Platform setup & environment management

- Deploy and maintain Snowflake environments across dev, test, and production with optimized configuration and cost controls.

Source connectivity & data ingestion

- Manage connections to enterprise data sources using Snowpipe, external stages, and ETL/ELT tools.

User, role & access management

- Implement RBAC, enforce least-privilege principles, and manage SSO/OAuth integrations.

Security & compliance standards

- Enforce column/row-level security, agile masking, encryption, audit logging, and SOC 2/HIPAA/GDPR compliance.

Performance monitoring & cost optimization

- Monitor queries and warehouse utilization; tune caching, clustering, and materialized views; implement cost governance.

Governance, documentation & operational standards





- Maintain platform standards, naming conventions, data retention policies, failover/DR procedures, and CI/CD pipelines
