Job Summary

The IT Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient technology operations. The role oversees IT support, network administration, system maintenance, cybersecurity, software licensing, IT asset management, vendor coordination, and technology initiatives that support business operations.

Key Responsibilities

IT Infrastructure Management

- Manage and maintain servers, desktops, laptops, printers, networking equipment, and storage devices.
- Ensure maximum uptime and reliability of IT systems.
- Plan infrastructure upgrades and technology refreshes.

Network Administration

- Monitor and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, internet connectivity, and firewall devices.
- Configure and troubleshoot switches, routers, firewalls, and network security.
- Maintain network performance and availability.

IT Support & Service Delivery

- Lead end-user support for hardware, software, email, printers, conferencing systems, and business applications.
- Ensure timely resolution of IT support tickets.
- Develop and maintain IT support procedures and documentation.

Information Security

- Implement cybersecurity best practices.
- Manage antivirus, endpoint security, firewall policies, and data backup processes.
- Monitor system vulnerabilities and coordinate security updates.
- Conduct periodic security awareness sessions.

Server & Backup Management

- Administer Windows Server environment and Active Directory.
- Monitor server health and storage utilization.




- Ensure regular backups and disaster recovery readiness.

IT Asset Management

- Maintain inventory of IT assets.
- Track procurement, allocation, warranty, repairs, and disposal of IT equipment.
- Manage software licenses and renewals.

Vendor Management

- Coordinate with hardware, software, ISP, and technology vendors.
- Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate service agreements.
- Manage Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs).

IT Policies & Compliance

- Develop and implement IT policies, SOPs, and security guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and client IT requirements.
- Support internal and external IT audits.

Project Management

- Lead IT infrastructure improvement projects.
- Coordinate implementation of new software and technology solutions.
- Support ERP, HRMS, and other business applications.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 812 years of IT infrastructure and operations experience.
- 3–5 years of experience managing IT teams.
