In this role you will –

In Valuation and Financial Reporting

- Perform and analyze reserve balances under GAAP, Statutory, and Tax
- Consolidate valuation results
- Prepare Statutory filings and exhibits
- Perform quarterly GAAP earnings review and memos
- Perform reconciliation of actuarial ledger accounts
- Perform SOX and MAR controls
- Support audit and external stakeholder

Qualifications

Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:

- 3 to 6 years of relevant experience




- Good verbal and written communication skills (ability to prepare and present results)
- Technical Skills
- Advanced Excel skills including powering queries;
- Microsoft word, Microsoft PPT
- Programming knowledge in SQL, VBA & SAS
- Data transformation on Microsoft Access

- Analytical Skills

- Detail oriented and well organized
- Analytical mindset, robust problem solver with math or analytics background
- Experience performing analysis and explanation
- Development or design of trends and analytics
- Statistical analysis of large data sets

- Operational Skills

- Life insurance and annuity product knowledge
- Annuity product knowledge
- GAAP, Statutory, Tax reserving knowledge
