Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled .NET Developer with Strong expertise to maintain and enhance our Employee Appraisal application and provide technical assistance for our E-Recruitment System (developed in PHP &MySQL;). This role requires someone who can manage day to day maintenance, troubleshoot issues, handle enhancements, and support on-site implementation and delivery for police recruitment projects.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of .NET based applications, MySQL database management, and basic exposure to PHP systems with IoT device integration/embedded systems for coordination and issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Employee Appraisal Application Maintenance

- Ensure smooth operation and performance of the .NET based appraisal system
- Perform troubleshooting, bug fixes and incremental enhancements
- Optimize application performance and maintain system documentation.

2. Database Management

- Manage and maintain MySQL databases, including backups, indexing and performance tuning.
- Write, review, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures and database structures.

3. E-Recruitment Application Support

- Understand the architecture and workflow of the PHP based e-recruitment application
- Provide technical support , integration assistance, and troubleshooting for the recruitment system.
- Coordinate with PHP development team for updates and issue resolution.

4. Onsite Implementation and Delivery Support

- Travel to client (police department) locations for application development and support
- Assist in configuring systems and ensuring successful implementation during recruitment drives.
- Train end-users and provide technical guidance during project execution

5. Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain updated documentation for both applications and databases.
- Prepare technical reports, status updates, and compliance reports for management and stakeholders.

Technical Skills Required:





- Strong experience in .NET Framework(C#, ASP .NET,MVC)
- Proficiency in MySQL (queries, optimization, backups, database tuning)
- Working knowledge of Web APIs, Entity Framework, LINQ
- Familiarity with PHP Application workflows and ability to coordinate on technical issues.
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery
- Experience with version control tools(GIT/SVN) and deployment processes
- Ability to handle onsite technical support
- Familiarity with IoT Protocols(MQTT, HTTP, TCP/IP) and embedded device communication.
- Experience with hardware integration, biometric devices and sensors.
- Knowledge of device drivers, serial communication, and data synchronization processes.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT or related discipline.
- 4 - 5 years experience in .NET development and MySQL database management
- Experience in application maintenance and client facing technical support roles.
- Exposure to PHP based application is an advantage
- Exposure to IoT Device Integration/ Embedded system applications is a plus.

- Database Performance: Optimize and maintain query response times within defined benchmarks
- Enhancement Delivery: Complete assigned enhancement tasks on or before deadlines with zero defect
- Documentation Quality: Maintain updated, clear and accurate system documentation and change logs.
- Stakeholder Satisfaction: Positive feedback from internal teams and clients.
