The role demands strong subject knowledge, effective teaching skills, research orientation, and commitment to student development.Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching & Academic Delivery

- Teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in Computer Science and related disciplines.
- Prepare lesson plans, course materials, assessments, and learning resources.
- Use creative teaching methodologies, including blended learning and technology-enabled instruction.
- Mentor students for academic growth, projects, internships, and career guidance.

Research & Scholarly Activities

- Conduct independent and collaborative research in relevant areas of Computer Science.
- Publish research papers in reputed journals and conferences.
- Pursue funded research projects, consultancy, and industry collaboration.
- Support Ph.D./M.Tech student research work (if applicable).

Curriculum & Academic Development

- Participate in syllabus design, curriculum updates, and academic reviews.
- Contribute to accreditation, quality assurance, and academic audits (NAAC, NBA, etc.).




- Develop new courses aligned with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Administrative & Institutional Responsibilities

- Serve on departmental and institutional committees.
- Assist in organizing seminars, workshops, FDPs, conferences, and academic events.
- Support student admissions, examinations, and other academic processes.
- Contribute to institutional branding, outreach, and industry relations.

Required Qualifications

- M.Tech in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / IT Mandatory
- Ph.D. in Computer Science Completed or Pursuing
- Must meet UGC/AICTE eligibility norms.

Desired Skills & Competencies

- Strong command over core Computer Science subjects such as:
- Data Structures & Algorithms
- Operating Systems
- Database Management Systems
- Computer Networks
- Software Engineering
- Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning / Data Science (preferred)

- Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
- Research aptitude with publications or ongoing PhD work.
- Ability to mentor students and guide projects.

Experience

- Minimum 4 years of experience in teaching and/or research in higher education institutions is required.
