Key Responsibilities

- Designing and developing of mechanical components, assemblies, and products based on application and internal requirements.
- Create 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks.
- Detailing in 2D manufacturing drawings with appropriate dimensions, tolerances, GD&T;, and bill of materials (BOM).
- Develop recent products from concept through design, prototyping, testing, and production release.
- Modify and improve existing products to enhance performance, reliability, simplified manufacturing feasibility, with control on cost.
- Coordinate with production, quality, procurement, and suppliers to ensure optimum designs.
- Prepare engineering documents including design calculations, specifications, technical reports, and assembly instructions.
- Support prototype development, testing, validation, and troubleshooting activities.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards and customer specifications.
- Participate in design reviews and implement corrective actions to ensure seamless production after drawing release.
- Maintain engineering change records.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.




- 02 years of experience in mechanical design and product development.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks (Part, Assembly, and Drawing modules).
- Moderate knowledge of 2D drafting and engineering drawing standards.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining, sheet metal fabrication, welding, casting, injection molding, and assembly.
- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T;) and tolerance stack-up analysis.
- Familiarity with MoC selection as per engineering standards.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills

- Product development lifecycle knowledge.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
- Experience with prototype development and testing.
- Basic understanding of FMEA and root cause analysis.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a cross-functional team.
