Roles & Responsibilities:

1.Procurement Strategy & Planning

- Assist in developing and implementing procurement strategies in line with organizational goals.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, market trends, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Support category management and long-term sourcing initiatives.

2. Supplier & Contract Management

- Build and maintain robust relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
- Lead negotiations for pricing, terms, and service levels to achieve value for money.
- Monitor supplier performance against agreed contracts and KPIs.

3.Team Leadership & Coordination

- Supervise and guide procurement executives in day-to-day operations.
- Allocate tasks and monitor progress to ensure timely completion of procurement activities
- Provide training and mentoring to enhance team capabilities.

4.Cost Control & Budget Management

- Assist in preparing and monitoring the procurement budget.
- Implement cost-reduction initiatives while maintaining quality and compliance.




- Track and report savings achieved through strategic sourcing.

5. Process Improvement & Compliance

- Streamline procurement processes to increase efficiency and transparency.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal procurement policies.
- Support audits and maintain accurate procurement documentation.

6. Risk Management

- Identify procurement-related risks and propose mitigation measures.
- Ensure supply continuity through effective contingency planning.

7. Reporting & Analytics

- Prepare regular reports on procurement performance, cost savings, and supplier perform
- Use data analytics to support decision-making and strategy formulation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field. MBA preferred.

- Experience: 5-7 years of procurement experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory lead role.
