Role & responsibilities:

- Review, Develop, implement, and continuously improve IQC procedures, work instructions, and inspection standards.
- Ensure all incoming materials meet predefined specifications, standards, and compliance requirements.
- Manage the IQC team in the inspection and testing of incoming materials
- Coordinate with the procurement and supply chain teams for supplier-related quality concerns.
- Prepare and improve the supplier rating through QC projects
- Raw material testing from third party
- Maintain Supplier Dashboard, records of inspections, non-conformities, and corrective/preventive actions.
- Work closely with suppliers to resolve quality issues and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Collaborate with Design, engineering, production, and QA teams to improve supplier product and process quality
- Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of testing equipment.




- Generate regular reports and metrics on IQC performance, supplier quality, and trends.
- Train and develop team members on inspection techniques, tools, and company quality standards.
- Supplier Quality Process Audit
- Component validation/SIR w.r.t. design

Preferred candidate profile:

- Engineering/Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a supervisory at IQC role.
- Familiar with quality management systems.
- Robust knowledge of quality inspection methods, sampling plans, and quality tools (e.g., SPC, 7QC tools, MSA, FMEA, RCA etc.).
- Proficiency in using inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, comparator gauges, Height gauge etc.
- Experience with SAP software is a plus.
