Job Description Junior Architect (Commercial)

Location: Gopalan Enterprises, Bengaluru

Experience: 4–8Years

Qualification: B.Arch

Job Summary Support the architectural planning, drafting, design coordination and execution of commercial projects including office buildings, malls, retail spaces and mixed-use developments while ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and quality standards

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare concept, schematic, working and GFC drawings.

• Coordinate with Structural, MEP, Interior, Landscape and other consultants.

• Ensure compliance with statutory approvals, NBC guidelines and commercial regulations.

• Coordinate with site teams and monitor design implementation.

• Review BOQs, material specifications, shop drawings and vendor submissions.

• Conduct site visits and resolve technical issues.

• Participate in client and consultant meetings.





• Maintain project documentation and drawing revisions.

• Monitor project timelines and deliverables.

• Support value engineering, cost optimization and procurement approvals.

• Prepare architectural presentations, reports and area statements.

• Assist in project handover documentation. Required Skills AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, BIM, Adobe Photoshop, MS Office, Working Drawings, GFC Drawings, Commercial Design Coordination, Site Coordination, BOQ Review and Consultant Management.

Preferred Industry: Commercial Real Estate, Retail, Office Buildings, Shopping Malls, Mixed-Use Developments and Construction.

Reporting To: Senior Architect / Design Manager
