Role Name: Data Governance Techno-Functional Consultant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Techno-functional Consultant in Data Governance to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of both the technical and functional aspects of data governance and will be responsible for ensuring that data governance initiatives align with business objectives. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and functional skills to implement and maintain data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

- Data Governance Implementation:
- Design, implement, and maintain data governance frameworks. Have in-depth understanding of data governance artefacts - including data dictionaries, business glossary, data classification & tagging, data domain, data policies, standards and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish data ownership, stewardship, and accountability.

- Technical Expertise:





- Provide technical subject matter expertise in implementing data governance tools and platforms and onboard different type of metadata (technical, business, and operational)
- Assist in the configuration, customization, and deployment of data governance tool.
- Experience in implementing at least one data cataloging tool for enterprise (technical metadata, business glossary, tagging, lineage etc.)

- Functional Analysis:

- Conduct detailed business requirements analysis to identify data governance needs and objectives.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications for data governance solutions.
- Work with business users to ensure data governance processes are well-understood and adhered to.

Preferred experience: 5 to 8 years in implementing any of the data cataloging tool (e.g. Informatica EDC/Axon, Alation, Collibra)Role & responsibilities
