Job Description: Store Officer

Role Summary

Responsible for overall store and warehouse operations including receipt, storage, issue, and inventory control of raw materials, packing materials, spares, and finished goods in compliance with cGMP and safety norms.

Key Responsibilities

- Material Receipt & Verification: Check GRN, invoices, QC release for RM/PM/Spares. Physical verification and proper storage

- Storage & Housekeeping: Ensure proper storage of chemicals, hazardous materials, and MCC finished goods as per MSDS and cGMP norms

- Material Issue: Issue materials to production as per MRP/Batch card. Maintain FIFO/FEFO system

- Inventory Management: Maintain bin cards, stock registers, and SAP/ERP entries. Conduct daily/weekly/monthly stock reconciliation

- Documentation: Maintain GRN, SIV, returnable gate passes, store records, and compliance documents

- Safety & Compliance: Follow chemical storage norms, fire safety, and PPE. Ensure proper labeling and segregation of hazardous materials

- Coordination: Coordinate with Production, QC, Purchase, and Accounts for material requirement and dispatches





- Dispatch: Arrange loading/unloading of finished goods and raw materials. Maintain transport and courier records

- Audit: Support for internal and external audits. Maintain 5S and cleanliness in store area

Candidate Requirements

- Education: 12th / Diploma / http://B.Com / BBA. Diploma in Materials Management preferred

- Experience: 3-5 years in store/warehouse in chemical industry. Experience in chemical/pharma/MCC plant preferred

- System Knowledge: Basic knowledge of SAP/ERP, MS Excel for inventory and reports

- Preference: Immediate joiners will be given 1st preference

- Other: Candidate must be from chemical industry background. Knowledge of hazardous chemical storage norms is an advantage

Key Skills

- Solid knowledge of inventory control, FIFO/FEFO, and material handling

- Good documentation and communication skills

- Knowledge of cGMP, GWP, and safety in chemical store

- Ability to handle pressure and meet production requirements

- Forklift license / experience in handling is an added advantage

Work Details

- Shift: General shift. May require support during dispatches/urgent requirements

- Location: Ankleshwar, Gujarat

- PPE: Mandatory while entering production/chemical storage area
