Our Client is a well-established retail group of companies into diversified business is seeking a highly skilled and energetic Internal Audit Manager to join their corporate office in Bangalore.
> Candidate will independently manage, plan, and execute comprehensive internal audits across our client retail operations, supply chain, and corporate functions. This role requires a strategic thinker who can deliver independent risk assessments directly to the Head of Internal Audit.
Key Responsibilities
- Audit Management: Lead and execute end-to-end internal audit assignments independently across retail stores, warehouses, and corporate departments.
- Risk Assessment: Identify operational, financial, and compliance risks, evaluating the effectiveness of internal control systems.
- Process Improvement: Formulate actionable recommendations to enhance operational efficiency, cost control, and corporate governance.
- Report Drafting: Prepare detailed,
high-quality audit reports and present findings directly to the Head of Internal Audit.
- Compliance Verification: Ensure complete adherence to retail industry regulations, local laws, and internal company policies.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional department heads to track and implement agreed-upon audit corrective actions.
Candidate Profile & Qualifications
- Education: M.Com or MBA Finance, or CA Inter / ICWA (CMA) Inter.
- Experience: 1215 years of hardcore internal audit experience within a reputed company (Retail industry experience is highly preferred).
- Age Limit: Maximum 40 years.
- Demographics: Native of Bangalore with deep familiarity with the local region.
- Language Skills: Absolute fluency in Kannada and English is mandatory. Spoken proficiency in Hindi is a strong advantage.
- Core Competencies: Strong analytical mindset, excellent drafting skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
