Job Summary
The MEP Delivery Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) projects from design through execution and handover. The role ensures projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with quality, safety, and client requirements. The manager collaborates with cross-functional teams, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of MEP projects across commercial, residential, industrial, or infrastructure sectors.
- Develop project execution plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
- Coordinate with design consultants, architects, structural engineers, and civil teams to ensure seamless MEP integration.
- Review MEP drawings, specifications, BOQs, and technical submittals.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines, quality standards, and budget.
- Manage contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers for timely execution.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress review meetings.
- Oversee testing, commissioning, snagging, and project handover activities.
- Manage client communication and provide regular project status updates.
- Review and approve change orders, RFIs, and variation claims.
- Drive continuous process improvement and implement best practices in project delivery.
- Mentor and guide project engineers and site teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Master's degree or PMP certification is an advantage.
- 1015+ years of experience in MEP project execution and delivery.
- Minimum 5 years in a leadership or delivery management role.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and ELV systems.
- Expertise in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cost control.
- Familiarity with international and local MEP codes and standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks, and Microsoft Project or Primavera P6.
- Strong contract administration and commercial awareness.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Preferred Experience
- Experience delivering large-scale commercial, data center, healthcare, hospitality, or industrial projects.
- Knowledge of BIM coordination and digital project delivery.
- Experience managing EPC or Design & Build projects.
- Familiarity with sustainability standards such as LEED or IGBC is desirable.
