Job Title: Backend Developer

Experience: 3-6 years

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
- Build robust server-side applications using Node.js, NestJS, and related backend technologies.
- Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and data models for performance and scalability.
- Develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services when required.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient backend code following best practices.
- Perform code reviews and ensure backend architecture standards are followed.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues efficiently.
- Contribute to backend architecture decisions and system improvements.

Requirements:

- 3-6 years of backend development experience
- Strong proficiency in Node.js
- Hands-on experience with NestJS (preferred) or similar frameworks like Express.js
- Strong experience with MongoDB / NoSQL databases
- Good understanding of database design, indexing,



aggregation pipelines, and query optimization
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs
- Familiarity with authentication & authorization mechanisms (JWT, RBAC)
- Good understanding of system design principles
- Experience with Git / version control systems
- Knowledge of Redis / caching mechanisms is a plus
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a quick-paced environment

Preferred Skills (Bonus):

- Experience with microservices architecture
- Experience with queue systems (BullMQ / RabbitMQ)
- Exposure to logging and monitoring tools
