The company specializes in chimneys, cooktops, and hobs, and is expanding into larger home appliance categories, including refrigeration products.

Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate and hands-on R&D; & Innovation Engineer with 3 - 4 years of experience in the refrigeration and consumer appliances industry. The selected candidate will be responsible for product innovation, concept development, prototyping, testing, and coordination with OEM partners to develop next-generation refrigeration and kitchen appliance products. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge of refrigeration systems, cooling technologies, product development processes, and manufacturing practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Research market trends, customer insights, and competitor products in the refrigeration and home appliances segment.

- Develop innovative product concepts and features for refrigerators and kitchen appliances.

• Work on product enhancements related to cooling performance, energy efficiency, storage optimization, noise reduction, and product aesthetics.

• Coordinate with OEM manufacturers and vendors for prototype development and product sampling.

- Conduct product testing, validation, and performance analysis for refrigeration products.
- Support pilot production, product launches, and New Product Introduction (NPI) activities.
- Collaborate with Design, Quality, Procurement, Sales, and Manufacturing teams for cross functional product development.




- Prepare technical specifications, BOMs, testing reports, and product documentation.

• Identify and evaluate recent technologies, components, insulation materials, compressors, and cooling systems for future product development.

• Analyze customer feedback and translate insights into product improvements.

• Ensure products comply with applicable quality, safety, and energy-efficiency standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or any related field.

• 3 - 4 years of experience in R&D;, product development, or innovation within the refrigeration or consumer appliances industry.

- Strong understanding of refrigeration systems, compressors, cooling cycles, insulation technologies, and energy-efficient solutions.

• Experience in refrigerator product development and OEM coordination.

- Knowledge of manufacturing processes involving sheet metal, plastics, electronics, and appliance assembly.

• Familiarity with CAD tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, or similar software.

• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines effectively.

- Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in direct-cool and frost-free refrigerator development.

• Exposure to inverter compressor technologies and smart appliance features.

• Experience in managing innovation projects from concept to commercialization.

• Understanding of Indian consumer appliance market trends and customer preferences.

• Experience working with suppliers, manufacturing units, and testing laboratories.

• Knowledge of dishwasher products and technologies will be an added advantage.
