Job Title: Duty Officer

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Duty Officer to oversee the day-to-day operations of the cinema and ensure a seamless guest experience. The candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, maintaining operational standards, resolving guest concerns, and ensuring smooth functioning of all departments during assigned shifts. Duty Officers typically oversee daily operations, coordinate teams, and ensure service, safety, and operational standards are consistently maintained.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily cinema operations and ensure smooth shift management.
- Lead and monitor Guest Service Associates, housekeeping, security, and concession teams.
- Ensure excellent guest service and promptly resolve customer complaints.
- Monitor ticketing, food & beverage, and overall operational standards.
- Conduct regular floor inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with SOPs.
- Prepare daily operational reports and maintain shift records.
- Coordinate with maintenance and technical teams for timely resolution of issues.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and statutory compliance.




- Handle emergency situations professionally and take corrective actions when required.
- Support the Cinema Manager in achieving operational and business targets.

Eligibility Criteria

- Education: Graduate in any discipline.
- Experience: 25 years of experience in hospitality, retail, multiplex, QSR, or customer service operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

Required Skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Customer-centric approach with good conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions.
- Good knowledge of MS Office and basic reporting.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Preferred Candidate

- Graduate with experience in hospitality, retail, multiplex, or service industry.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a rapid-paced environment.
- Positive attitude, strong ownership, and excellent guest handling skills.
- Good understanding of operational procedures, safety standards, and team coordination.
