We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Labour Room Staff Nurse to join our hospital team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to mothers during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period while ensuring the safety and well-being of both mother and newborn.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care during labor, delivery, and postpartum.
- Assist obstetricians and gynecologists during deliveries and procedures.
- Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs and document patient progress.
- Prepare the labour room, instruments, and equipment for deliveries.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Provide immediate newborn care and assist with neonatal resuscitation when required.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure infection control protocols are followed.
- Educate and support patients and their families.
Requirements
- B.Sc. Nursing or GNM
- 1 Year Experience is preferred.
- Valuable communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights.
