R&D; Facility Planning, Project management & Budget control

Responsibility:
Indirect Procurement (AMC/ Spares & Capex related)

Driving adherence to practices for Budget planning in accordance to ZBB philosophy, spend analysis, and management reporting

Project management activities, for setting up testing and evaluation facilities

Competency Requirements:
Technical/Functional:
Sourcing Experience (Level: Intermediate):
a. Expertise in sourcing, logistics and vendor management area

b. Negotiating and influencing skills: able to influence business partners and suppliers as well as the ability to be assertive to ensure compliance to contracts

c. Knowledge of International business concepts, eg. L/C, INCO Terms, Custom Clearance, etc.

Analytical Aptitude (Level: Expert):
a. Robust analytical skills to understand and interpret the data for spend analysis and management reporting

b. Expertise in data analysis and info-graphic visualization using advanced excel functions and Power Point

c. Logical reasoning and problem solving skills

Financial Acumen (Level: Intermediate):
a.



Information of indirect and direct taxation and its impact on sourcing cycle.

b. Awareness of the changing rules and its impact on work areas

Project Management Skills (Level: Intermediate):
a. Stake holder management and ability to manage cross country and cross-functional scopes

b. Lay outing : Planning of facilities with close coordination with suppliers and considering all aspects related to Civil, Electrical- Mechanical Utilities, IT networks and safety

c. Monitoring Project installation & commissioning plan at Rohtak.

d. Project know: Industrial Bldg construction and Utility Installation, Govt. NBC rules, and safety aspects.
